April 23 – April 29, 1934

April 23
Monday.
Ironed some – made a cake did a thousand other things had a letter from Flossie. Wesley Munson’s we here to night while our young folks went to choir practice. enjoyed their visit so much. Mabel Lindell called asked me to the club tomorrow.
April 24
Tuesday.
Tut went to Irene’s so I’ve been here alone. took B.J. back to Dr. John for another shot. she was as brave as the first time. drove by Mabel L. and talked to Alma, Esther, Aunt Becka Irene a while. drove around town some and talked to Amy on the way home.
April 25
Wednesday.
What a day – plenty to do took off two hens with 32 little chicks. Tom and Irene came out a while to nite Tootie came home to day. I talked to Miss Amy. worked in the yard some. Its fun to watch things grow. Bonnies cough seems better
April 26
Thursday.
Washed alone to day it was rather windy. talked to Aunt Ellen also Bernenice worked in the yard some more. sewed on Jane’s green dress some. also her pink The kids went to chior practice again. all well except whooping cough.


April 27
Friday.
Just as we were ready to go to the hospital Mrs Berkman Pauline & Tut came out. Mousie gave B.J. a boquet of roses and a little cute apron. we rode with them to town. Bonnie took her shot just fine. talk to Mrs. Bucsholz.
April 28
Saturday.
Did the usual work baked a big batch of cookies. gave some for Tootie, Mabel Lindell, Irene, Mama Birdie, Tootie & Martha Ellen came out a few minutes. Dear little Tootie looks fine. I’ve been home all day all well.
April 29
Sunday.
Was at home all day – Tom & Irene were here for dinner – they all went riding but Irene & I. – made Tootie a cake all dressed up.- Tuddie & Billy spent the day at Aunt Ellen’s. Jack came for Tut at 6.15 the went to church. B. J. still coughs.


Lots of visiting this week and trips to the doctor for what I assume are antibiotics for Bonnie’s cough. Sounds like they are working. Slowly.
